Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing Hilel ("Service", operated at hilel.app) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Hilel turns long-form video into short, platform-ready clips with captions, audio cleanup, and hook edits. You upload source media; the Service processes it and returns an edited short.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload. You grant Hilel the limited rights needed to process, store, and deliver your media back to you. You represent that you have the rights to everything you upload and that processing it does not violate any third-party rights.

4. Acceptable use

• No content that is illegal, infringing, or sexually explicit involving minors.
• No attempts to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service.
• No using the Service to harass, defraud, or impersonate others.

5. Third-party platforms

Publishing to TikTok, YouTube, or other platforms is subject to those platforms' own terms. Hilel does not control their decisions around availability, demotion, or removal of your posts.

6. Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance. Unused credits carry forward until the plan ends. Hilel is currently in beta; pricing and features may change with notice.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Hilel may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable law.

8. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Hilel is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Total liability is capped at the amount you paid Hilel in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
